What LyricsSol is
LyricsSol is an editorial platform that publishes song lyrics, romanised transliterations, English translations, and original commentary such as song meanings, artist information and production credits. The site is intended for personal reading, education, research and commentary about music.
Lyrics and copyright
Song lyrics are the property of their respective writers, publishers and rights holders. On LyricsSol they are presented for reference, education and commentary, alongside our own editorial analysis. We do not claim ownership of any song lyrics. If you are a rights holder and want a work removed or credited differently, please see our DMCA Policy — we act on valid requests promptly.
Acceptable use
You may read the content on LyricsSol and share links to our pages. You may quote a short passage with attribution for commentary or discussion. You may not:
- scrape, crawl or use automated tools to harvest content from the site;
- copy or republish our pages, in whole or in substantial part, on another site or service;
- download lyrics in bulk or redistribute them commercially;
- misrepresent our content as your own, or remove credits and notices;
- interfere with the site's operation, security or availability.
Submissions
If you submit lyrics, corrections, comments or other material, you confirm that you have the right to share it, and you grant LyricsSol a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, edit and publish it on the site. We may decline or remove any submission at our discretion, and an editor reviews submissions before anything is published.
Our editorial content
The original material we create — song-meaning write-ups, artist and album write-ups, FAQs, the site's design, code, logo and branding — belongs to LyricsSol and is protected by copyright. Please do not reuse it without permission, beyond short attributed quotes for commentary.
Accuracy and "as is"
We work hard to keep the site accurate, with every page reviewed by a human editor, but we make no guarantee that all content is error-free or complete. LyricsSol is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. See our Disclaimer for more.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LyricsSol and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its content.
