About Awarapan 2 Movie Songs
Awarapan 2 is the soundtrack to the 2026 Hindi film of the same name — the sequel to the cult 2007 romantic drama Awarapan. The film, directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Vishesh Bhatt under Vishesh Films, stars Emraan Hashmi (returning to the franchise) alongside Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi, and is set for a 14 August 2026 release, distributed by Pen Marudhar.
The soundtrack is a multi-composer effort, with songs by Mithoon, Amaal Mallik, Jeet Gannguli and Akhil Sachdeva (background score by Raju Singh). It opened on 7 July 2026 with the first single, "Ve Junoon" — composed by Mithoon, written by Sayeed Quadri and sung by Subodhh Sharma. The original Awarapan (2007), scored by Pritam and sung largely by Mustafa Zahid, produced cult favourites like "Tera Mera Rishta" and "Toh Phir Aao"; the sequel hands its music to a fresh lineup.
