Breakthrough
He broke through with "Struggle" (2019), an anthem about the grind before success that resonated across Punjab and the diaspora, and cemented his run with hits like "Defaulter" with Gurlez Akhtar. Unusually for a hitmaker, he writes and composes his own material, and his pen is as respected as his voice.
Style
R Nait's songs favour plain-spoken Punjabi, rural imagery and emotional directness over gloss — a relatable, working-man's voice in a scene often dominated by flash. In 2026 he released "Private Jet", an emotional track with music by Mix It Up.
